Air Conditioning Installation in London, SE9
editFull House Cooling – 6 Mitsubishi Units Supplied and fitted
Summary
- The client had requested to have the ability to fully heat and cool their property.
- They had a strict budget and didn’t want to go a penny over.
- The installation needed to be completed within 4 days.
- The installation needed to have a minimum of 5 years warranty.
The Challenge
A new customer approached us after saying they weren’t able to find an installer that could complete the works while they were away for 4 days. We were able to do it by putting 5 engineers on the job.
The client needed 2 internal units in the downstairs area of the property, 3 internal units in the upstairs of the property and a single large unit in the kitchen/dining area, 6 internal units in total.
The difficulty in placing the units around the property meant we had to divide the installation into 3 separate areas, each with their own external unit. Larger units like the one installed in the kitchen/dining area (7kw) do need their own external units. Multi split installations (one outdoor and multiple indoor units) usually have a maximum capacity of 3.5kw.
As Mitsubish approved installers we are able to issue extended warranties on all installations.
The Outcome
The completed installation delivered a clean and highly efficient climate control solution while maintaining the highest technical and safety standards throughout the project.
As an NICEIC-registered contractor, all electrical works were completed in full accordance with NICEIC standards by our in house electricians. Additionally being F Gas Registered means all of our refrigeration and air conditioning works are carried out to their standards ensuring all refrigerant handling, installation, testing and commissioning procedures are always to standard.
Being accredited by both the NICEIC and F Gas Register shows our commitment to quality, safety, compliance and workmanship on every single installation. These accreditations hold us to exceptionally high standards and guarantee our approach of going above and beyond industry requirements to make sure every project is completed professionally.
Installation Highlights
- NICEIC-registered electrical wiring installed and completed to current NICEIC standards.
- Fully F-Gas compliant installation and refrigerant handling.
- Minimal visible trunking and pipework throughout the property.
- White external trunking carefully matched to the building exterior for a discreet finish.
- Mitsubishi Heavy Industry systems positioned discreetly on a side wall.
- Full testing, commissioning and system performance verification completed with documentation handed over to the home owner.
Extra attention was given to the appearance and finish of the installation. External cabling and containment were installed neatly using white trunking selected to blend in with the exterior wall finish colour. The units were positioned carefully on a side wall to minimise visible pipework and maintain a clean, modern look throughout the property.
Attention to detail is one of the key reasons our installations consistently perform and why our customers keep coming back. Every connection and joint was thoroughly tested throughout the installation process to ensure maximum reliability and performance.
Quality Control & Testing Procedures
Every installation we complete undergoes a strict testing and commissioning process including:
- Leak testing on every refrigerant joint and connection.
- Pressure testing to 45 bar to confirm complete system integrity.
- Extended pressure holding periods to ensure there are absolutely no leaks in any pipework or joints.
- Deep vacuum testing to approximately 200 microns before commissioning to extract any humidity in the system.
- Full operational testing of indoor and outdoor units.
- Atmospheric and discharge temperature readings recorded to verify manufacturer performance standards and maintain guarantees.
