What is an Electrical Certificate (EICR)?

An electrical certificate examines the condition of the electrical wiring throughout your property and checks if an installation meets current safety standards – BS7671. Once the inspection is completed you are issued with an electrical certificate or an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR). This document outlines whether your installation is satisfactory, or whether any issues have been found.

It identifies potential issues, or non-compliance with current regulations helping to prevent electrical faults, fires, and shocks.

What to Expect During the Inspection
